For my family, watching films has always been an essential part of celebrating the season. From White Christmas, Holiday Inn, and other classic old favorites to The Muppet's Christmas Carol, it just wouldn't be Christmas without movies. And who doesn't love a good Christmas movie? One of my latest favorites is The Nativity Story. The movie is as beautiful as the story itself. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys the true meaning of Christmas.

A Little Christmas Fun
Sometimes, it seems that school can take away all my joy. However, the other day a good friend from CWSC (Thanks, Beth!) sent me this link:http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=9606182260

Football Stuff
WOW! Did anyone see the upset of #1 LSU by Arkansas?! Triple Overtime ended with an interception... beautiful to behold, if you were an Arkansas fan. I was today... as was probably the entire population of Morgantown, WV. Because of this game, the WVU Mountaineers may now have a shot at the National Championship.
What a great day to be a Mountaineer!

Too Old for Dess-up?
I love to wear historical costumes, and Thanksgiving Day is no exception. Last night as I was ironing my skirt, a dear lady from church gently teased me for my "childish ways." However, I am not dressing as a princess waiting for a fairy tale prince, but I am dressing out of a love for history. I hope to keep this love of history and fashion the rest of my life. (Though, if a fairy tale prince shows up, that could be okay too!)
Historical Footwear too, of course! :)
Happy Thanksgiving

Welcome and Where
Welcome to my blog... just a place to keep my ponderings.
This is the start of something new. Where to begin? I feel like Frodo; I am stepping out of a door not knowing where I may be swept off to.
