Look what the Berrys gave me!
Aren't they beautiful?

Quote of the Day
"A religion which is in constant process of revision to square with science's ever-changing picture of the world might well be easier to believe, but it is hard to believe it would be worth believing." C.E.M. Joad as quoted in Understanding the Times p.18

Creation Museum: Part 2
GASP! I'm finally posting part 2. :)
We finished hanging out with Noah on the ark...
as the waters covered the earth...

And we were off...
to the section on race and ethnicity...
It was fascinating!

Click on the picture below. :)

The creation museum has excellent source materials. Especially quotations.

We also stopped by the Planetarium. "A Must" according to a good friend. :)

Then, we headed off to the gardens...

Aren't they beautiful?

Who doesn't like a rope bridge?

I'm clearly having way too much fun.

I LOVED this sign! Too funny.
I really wanted to see the dinosaur exhibit.
And, of course, we had to emulate our dear friends...

I never did like Jurassic Park. :P The Creation Museum is WAY better.
We didn't get to see the Petting Zoo. I guess there's always next time.

Creation Museum
When my Dad suggested we make a stop at the Creation Museum on our way home from KY, all I could do was excitedly shout, "YES!" So on our way home, we stopped at the museum for 6 hours. And it was everything that I hoped it would be. :)
The staff were quick to welcome us... and point us in the right direction.
As soon as we acquired our tickets...
the displays amazed me. :)

The 7 C's were one of my favorite pieces of the museum.

I loved the museum's emphasis on the Bible's answers to life's problems/questions.
And the emphasis on evolution's lack of answers...
But, God's truth is wonderful!
The creations videos, displays, and animations were excellent reminders of our merciful God.
The history walk-through was great.
From Adam and Eve's sin to the Great Flood.
From Babel to the Cross.
Man's sinfulness and God's faithfulness were before us.
The story of Noah's ark had always been fascinating to me...
what a great experience to see a life-size "piece" of it.
Stay tuned for part 2...
