As a friend of mine said, how appropriate is it that it snowed on the 1st day of December?

Rainy Days and Mondays

You're right. Today is neither Monday -- nor rainy, but I *love* that song. :o) Actually, today was quite warm. You KNOW that it has been a cold winter when it's 44 degrees outside... and it feels like 64 degrees! I was blissful with a light jacket. And in a nutshell, that's the news of the day.

Winter Fever

This is what I dislike about winter... No dancing! With chilly conditions and no great indoor facility available, dancing is usually not an option.

And I miss it so much. Lively music & excellent company create practically, perfect afternoons!

*Sigh* Only a few more months, right?

Until then, I'll enjoy my hot cocoa and coffee... Looking at my pictures of a lovely, fall afternoon. :)

Beautiful snow has blanketed everything in sight. *Sigh* A perfect time for a cup of hot chocolate!

At last! The Young Victoria made its way to Morgantown. And despite the chilly, inclement weather, we ladies ventured out to see it. It did not disappoint. Fabulous costumes, music, cinematography (a personal favorite of mine =), and acting were all featured. Many of my friends love this story, and I'm sure we'll all have a copy in the future. It was an excellent addition to a wonderful day... If The Young Victoria graces a theater near you, it is well worth the price of admission. Though, if you're looking for A&E's Victoria & Albert, you may be disappointed. Personally, however, I enjoyed it more... especially Albert & Victoria -- I even "liked" Lord M's portrayal more. Three cheers for a great afternoon at the Warner. :-)

Snowed In?

During the "severe" snow storm this weekend, I had the opportunity to spend 24hrs with the sweetest friends a girl could have...
