Hmph. Well, Google informs me that I've used all of my storage space. So, I need to make a decision about my blog. And here are my current options:
A) Continue my current blog without anymore pictures.
B) Pay for more storage space
C) Start a new blog
D) Discontinue blogging entirely
I'll be praying and considering carefully my options... I do enjoy blogging. And, it gives me an outlet to write and think, but is it the best use of my time? "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable." 1 Cor. 6:12a
If y'all have any advice or thoughts to share, feel free to comment! :O)

I'll keep this simple. Two options make the most sense to me: blogging without pictures and/or starting a new blog. It is ultimately your decision and only you can decide if blogging is an appropriate use of your time.

P.S. I think your blog is insightful and I <3 you. :)
Totally agree with Danielle. I know I always enjoy reading your blog and keeping up with what you're doing, and pictures are pretty awesome, so I vote for starting a new blog if you do decide to continue blogging. :)
There is a 5th option. If you go back and downsize your photos, you can store a gazillion more. We're not even close to running out of space on our blog, and we've had it longer. That's because, due to the length of time it takes to upload a photo on dial-up, I make all my photos no larger than 1000px.
I suppose a 6th, but rather poor, option, would also be deleting some of your old posts to free up more space...
I definitely vote that you continue blogging, one way or another, because I love your blog. But do pray about it and do what you think is best.
Love ya, chummy!
P.S. Dee reads your blog? I think I'm jealous. :)
The world needs to know what you have gleaned from natural and special revelation (which are really just two sides of the same coin, actually).
Then again, the world may need to you develop other skills in the interim.
(A) is probably the option I like second least. Pictures on your blog liven it up, make it more palatable. Even little kids know that a book with no pictures is no fun.
(B) strikes me as a kind of good option if you've got the cash or if you've got a friend who's willing to invest in your future by contributing to the development of the blog.
(C) is the best option, IMO. You can start a new blog, link to that blog with a final, parting post to your old blog that tells everyone where to go to find your fantabulous thoughts, and when you run out of space on the new blog, you can keep doing the same.
(D) didn't sound like a good option to me at all at first, but sometimes there is a virtue to varying your skills set. My instincts are cloudy regarding your progress and time spent with piano, but Sunday you performed "Hark the Herald Angel Sings" with some serious finesse. Music represents an alternative language to the one which you speak here on your blog. Children who grow up learning to speak two langauges typically grow up to be faster thinkers who can see solutions quicker. The same principle echoes into adulthood with other "languages." So, depending on where you think you stand with the piano right now, it might pay off mucho mucho in the long run if you starting focusing more on piano for the short term. After all, instead of blogging, you can always share your opinions with your friends face to face, and I personally think you've hit ceiling for arranging pictures and words like you do on the blog.
Just my 323 cents (exact count of all the words above).
Hi, Laura. :D
I've never commented before, and we've only met once... but I like seeing what's going on in Morgantown. :D
Thought I might let you know what I found out about this:
Starting a new blog under the same google profile will not help. The 'space' is for all of your profile/email address, so just a second blog won't help. You'd need to create a whole new google profile, which may mean a new email address.
Alternatively, you can pay $6 a year to upload pretty much an endless amount of pictures. That's the option we went with and it is well worth it. I don't have to worry about downsizing (although I do anyway), I can upload videos, and its just nice to know I have plenty of room for pictures.
So, there's my bit of knowledge. I read your blog regularly via Google Reader, and hope you keep it up. :D
Blessings,
Olivia in TN
Hi Olivia,
Yes, I remember you! And it's good to hear from you. :)
You're right. Thankfully, I had to start another Google account for my college education, so I'll be using the new account for the new blog.
Thanks for reading my blog; I hope you'll read my new blog too. I'll definitely be checking in your blog now. :D And I LOVE comments, so feel free to give me your two cents anytime!
Laura
