Christmas Eve Hymn

Behold, a Branch is growing
Of loveliest form and grace,
As prophets sung, foreknowing;
It springs from Jesse's race
And bears one little Flow'r
In midst of coldest winter,
At deepest midnight hour.

O Saviour, Child of Mary,
Who felt our human woe;
O Saviour, King of Glory,
Who dost our weakness know,
Bring us at length, we pray,
To the bright courts of heaven
And to the endless day.

It is such a beautiful hymn! I loved your arrangement and enjoyed hearing you play during the Christmas Eve service.

I don't think I know that hymn, but the words are beautiful!

It's actually track 24 on The Nativity Story soundtrack. It's one of my most favorite Christmas hymns.

Fascinating! Is it in English on the soundtrack?

You'd think I'd know... The Nativity Story is one of my most favorite Christmas albums...
