An interesting tidbit

~Spoilers~
Having watched The Dark Knight a second time, I noticed something interesting:
In the scene where Bruce tells Rachel he is giving up Batman, Rachel is wearing a black and white dress... Symbolism, perhaps? The Dark Knight or The White Knight ?

Did you like the movie, Laura? I'll probably watch it when it comes out on DVD.

I hadn't noticed that! I think I was too freaked out by the Joker to do my usual costume drooling. I'll have to pay more attention next time I see it.

~Spoilers following!~

It would be an interesting idea to combine the white and the black to contrast Rachel's feelings for Harvey and Bruce. But I would think that if that was what the costumer was thinking, Rachel should wear more and more white as she leans towards Harvey. Does she wear more white toward the end? I can't remember! And now it's going to bug me... Wanna go to the theatre tonight? Hehehe...

Did you read the World review on Batman? I thought it was disappointing... The Dark Knight was such a good film- despite its scariness. In fact, had it been less scary, it wouldn't have been as powerful.

I loved the movie, Tricia! In fact, despite my conviction about how many times I watch a movie in theaters, I may see it 3 times. :P

Hmmm... I loved WORLD's review on Batman! I thought they really liked it. Did you get a different impression, Kiri?

I thought WORLD said it was too violent. "...It's a comic book dressed up as an uncontrollably intense crime movie" doesn't sound overly enthusiastic to me... Although I'll admit the Joker was kinda creepy- a good creepy though. :)

If you do go again I'd be happy to go with you if you want some company... :)
