Visit with the Field Family

During this year's Memorial Day weekend, the Field family came to visit mine. Ken, Debbie, and little Lisa are such a blessing, and the fellowship with them was wonderful.

My family first met Debbie when she moved to Morgantown when I was twelve... She came over for dinner, watched movies, and generally came to be a close family friend. That is why we were so excited when we found out she was getting married to Ken Fields, an OPC elder in California. That was three years ago... Now they have a sweet little girl named Lisa.

We were all very much looking forward to this weekend, and it didn't disappoint. Friday night the Fields arrived, but there wasn't much visiting done as it was late.
Saturday, both families went to Cooper's Rock for a leisurely hike...

Sunday, we had more fellowship with the Fields, but my family couldn't be selfish and keep the visit all to our selves... Therefore Pastor and Mrs. Semel came over to enjoy the conversation.

Monday afternoon the Fields left our home, but we're hoping to visit them in November (and perhaps tour Washington, D.C.). I can't wait to see all of them again. Their conversation is lively and encouraging. God has blessed me family with wonderful friends.
