Mrs. Semel's Shredded Potato Casserole

8 or 9 Potatoes cooked until done (not mushy)
---Peel when cool, grate into 9x13 buttered dish

On stove combine:
1/2 lb grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp salt
Pepper
1 cup Milk
1/2 pint Half n' Half
4 dashes nutmeg

Heat until warm. Pour over potatoes & stir. Sprinkles with paprika & dot with butter. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hrs. Remove from fridge 1hr before baking. Bake @ 325 for 1 hour.

I can't wait to try this recipe! It will be an excellent addition to Christmas dinner. :) I'll be sure to share how it turns out!

Sounds like my grandma's potato casserole- which we LOVE! Hope it turns out well!
